We watched this in grade 9 English…I just knew it was an R&J movie, and I was not looking forward to it at all, but I actually loved it!

I watched and I shuddered
I hate this movie & I’m horrified that 2 actors as amazing as Clare Danes and Leonardo DiCaprio could choose such a bad project! With the 1968 version of Romeo and Juliet being one of my favorite all time movies, this makes me cringe. I get wanting to do a remake (I personally wouldn’t have, but I get it), but make it good! Just….. ughh. When you have the opportunity to put a film out there, don’t make it suck. That’s just a general rule that this movie happened to break it.
